    So this week I’m allowing myself SOME starchy carby stuff. I had a hamburger bun the other night. Today at lunch I had 2 slices of light sourdough bread. Both amounted to less than 150 calories per serving.

    The thinking is that if I switch things up and keep my metabolism off guard I’ll lose weight a little more quickly. Yeah, I know. Whatever. LOL

    I’ve seen this eating strategy in several places. They tend to do a daily rotation rather than weekly. However, with my addiction to bread I have to be VERY careful. Rotating weekly is the way to go I think. We’ll see next Tuesday how well it works.

    I’m actually kind of nervous about this weekend. Husbandguy will be here and usually my eating goes to crap. We tend to eat out a lot and snack a lot on junk. That habit is part of why losing weight has been such a struggle for me. I HAVE to behave this weekend. I HAVE to prove to myself I can do it when he’s around as well as when he’s not.

    You know what your trigger is – take back your power from husbandguy and you will be just fine. Eating out is okay though just choose healthier options – get burgers bunless, if you go to a sit down, skip the french fries or potatoes and ask for a side salad or fruit bowl instead. Simple switches make all the difference. you got this
