I’m bored with food.  I tend to eat the same things ad nauseum when I find something that’s kicking the scales ass.  Every morning for the last month (or practically) I have had eggs, toast and bacon for breakfast.  This morning I had had ENOUGH of that.

I know I tend to loose weight more consistently when I eat eggs regularly.  I don’t KNOW why… it just is and I roll with that.  My challenge this morning was to figure out how to make healthy french toast.  Laugh if you must but I damn well did it and it was GOOOOOOD.  Fat Free.  Sugar Free.  Calorie Friendly.  Hot DAMN I’m good.

    French Toast a la NAMG

3 Slices Light Sourdough Bread                120 calories (40 per slice)

    2 eggs                                                      140 calories (70 per egg)

    1tsp vanilla extract

    1 1/2 to 2 tsp cinnamon

    I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray

    Splenda (to taste)

Whip Eggs, Splenda, Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract and a little bit of ICBINB Spray.  Spray small skillet with spray oil.  Preheat skillet on heat 6 (Just one notch up from medium).  Soak one slice of bread in egg mixture.  Put in hot skillet and cook until browned.  Flip bread and cook till brown.  Spray lightly with ICBINB Spray.  Repeat with remaining bread, slice by slice.

Serve with 1/2 Cantaloupe (54 calories) or whatever fruit you prefer.

    Total calories:  314

    No added sugar or fat.

If its not quite sweet enough for you try a little Sugar Free Syrup (or regular syrup if you can afford the calories and the sugar :)   )

I know it sounds simplistic… and it IS but it is sooooo tasty and a wonderful treat when you are tired of the same ole same ole.

Dear Members of the United States Government:

Congress seems to believe very strongly that the bail-out of Wall Street is something that is necessary for the economic health of our country. That being the case, there are some stipulations that need to be put in place to assure the American Citizens that they are steadfast in that belief and are willing to do their part to make this necessity happen. Members of our government should receive no increases in salary, benefits or compensation of any sort, until the American People are compensated for this 750 Billion Dollar loan to Wall Street. Any increases in salary, etc. once Wall Street has begun paying us back should be in step with the percentage of payback received. This stipulation is for ALL branches of the government except the men and women in our Armed Services classified as “Enlisted”.

I would also like to see NO ONE involved in the bail-out, from our government to the executives working for the companies being bailed out, receive an increase in their income due to the handling of the 750 Billion Dollar bail-out packet.

There are 100 Senators and 512 members of the House of Representatives, 9 Supreme Court Justices, The President, and the Vice-President. Take that total of 624 and divide it by 100 million wage earners to find the mean percentage of people each person listed above represents (0.00000624). As unemployment goes up by that percentage of wage earners, the salaries of the three branches of our government should decrease equal to the amount of wages lost. When the number of wage earners increases, a raise equal to the amount of wages gained would be given in a like manner.

Furthermore, there should be an absolute end to pork barrel programs enacted by the Federal Government. Any Congressman sponsoring a bill which uses national funds for local projects should be removed from office immediately. These types of programs should be the business of the State Government only. “Extra” funds in the Federal Coffers should cause a decrease in the tax rate for the next fiscal year.

Finally, our Income Tax system needs to be re-worked and re-modeled in order to make “Big Business” pay their share just like the working man down the street. We should move to a flat tax system rather than the current percentages that are circumvented by loopholes. I propose no loop holes, no exceptions for businesses. They pay their share just like everyone else.

I am certain that these concepts need to be implemented in order to allow our country to treat all individuals equal, and fairly. We need to free the American people of useless government, and achieve the independence that our forefathers dreamed of.

    Sincerely yours;

Well not REALLY but DAMN I feel good today.  Husband-Guy and I got some stuff squared away.  We made room for A’s and My things.  Got the new DVD/Game rack set up, got my bookcase up.  Got a lil organized.  Upstairs looks MUCH better now.

We also got a lil office set up for me in the trailer.  I have my own space now in which to blog, chat, do my school work and just generally have a little privacy and time to myself.  OMG I’M SO STOKED Y’ALL!!!

I also got my nails did, had lunch out with HusbandGuy and got the dog, who apparently has just gone into heat the last day or so spayed.  DRUNK GOGGIE is FUUUUUUUNNY!!

It feels good to get things accomplished for A and I and Husband-Guy.  (He got Rock-Band 2 today lol) I tend to brush what I need for A and I to feel settled aside when we are staying here with Mom and Dad.  It’s their home, not ours.  It’s uncomfortable, at best, to feel like you have no place for your things, no say in what goes on and no way to disagree with the parental units without feeling like you are out of line.

Having some space that is OURS goes a long way toward making things a bit easier.

As an aside, my day started out like crap.  I weighed in and gained a pound.  I did some things differently this week.  I ate closer to the 1800 calorie mark instead of sitting between 1400 and 1500.  I also had a snack around 8 or 9 each night and I wasn’t snacking at all previously.  Also, Aunt Flo is on her way and I’m sure that impacted it as well.  I’m not going to let it beat me down… but MAN was that annoying!  heh.
